Hey, I didn't know you'd got in. Welcome to PTS!
ReplyDeleteAnd Jaime (who sent me a great looking spreadsheet!) - I've been very busy so I've not had a good chance to look at it. I'll have to think of whether there's an easier way of getting spreadsheets onto the blog - the only ways I can think of are by doing screen grabs or by linking them to a public google document.
And now I'm going to watch the Fulham - Atletico game. I'm going for 2 - 1 to Atletico.
ReplyDeleteGood Call Marmoset!
ReplyDeleteThat Forlan looks like a good player. Sign himup Fergie.
ReplyDeleteOh.
The Guardian has set a World Cup Pick The Score game. I think we can stick to that and do our regular First Goalscorer thing
ReplyDeleteJaime
Um, it's not The Guardian. I've received an e-mail and before entering to the site I sent the previous post. It's something about earning real money and all that, and I'm not that interested...
ReplyDeleteBack to the blog?
I'm not impressed that the Guardian sold its PTS subscriber data to another company. I don't remember agreeing to that.
ReplyDeleteI vote we stay here.
Right- Let's get on with it!

ReplyDeleteHmm, good spot, Jaime. Did the Guardian do any publicity about this or did you find it by accident?
ReplyDeleteSo where do we operate from? MikeJapan and Ankaraspor nil haven't appeared on this blog yet so maybe we should use the PTS game as before so that we don't lose anybody.

I'd say to use The Guardian (also, because they do the counting). I found it because I check it every now and then just in case somebody has posted...
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you send a general e-mail letting know about it?
I'm in
ReplyDeleteI'll do the scorers as well before the games begin.
Tomorrow! Can't wait!
Jaime,

I sent an email round but Red's pointed out that they've taken the old site down and the new one doesn't have a forum.
